The interface design of a web site needs to clearly communicate what the site has to offer and how your customers can make use of it. Designing effective Web sites requires expert solutions to technical (download time and accessibility), organizational (structure and workflow), and visual (personality, visual organization) considerations.

 

 

Client: Arts Collinwood

Project Scope: Arts Collinwood is a non-profit arts organization in Northeast Ohio. The web site was re-designed in 2005. The re-designed included implementing a CMS, e-mail accounts, archiving images and electronic documents and employing simple architecture. The mission of the web site is to promote the organizations mission and utilize the web for marketing and out reach. The site went through several redesigns based .

Target audience: artists and individual community members of Northeast Ohio.

 

Client: Cleveland Museum of Art

Project Scope: Site was completed in 2006. The site consists of PHP includes and CSS. The mission of the project was to create a simple and clean design that can easily be updated and changed without interfering with the code. The re-designed consisted of nesting all content into include files, developing a CSS, branding the site to easily flow into the museums website, generating a simple navigation, applying labels that reach a varied target audience, and flowing the design into the branding of the ILS.

Target Audience: Academic researchers

 

Client: OV-ARLIS : Ohio Valley ARLIS

Project Scope: Arlis Ohio Valley is a non-profit academic arts organization that specializes in Art librarianship within the Ohio Valley area. The re-design of the site included re-organizing the content, developing a navigation that is user centered, implementing a CMS, and branding.  The objective of the site is to increase awareness of the organization as well as increase the member participation. The site will move from a Joomla platform to Wordpress to utilize a multiple author interface.

Target Audience: Students and Art Librarians in Northeast Ohio

 

Client: Integrated Mill Systems

Project Scope: Integrated Mills Systems was looking to revamp their website for better communication and visual marketing.  The site is in Wordpress so that the employees of Integrated Mill Systems may update the content easily.

Target Audience: Steel manufacturers


Client: Freedom House for Women

Project Scope: Freedom House for Women wanted to have more control over their content.  Currently the site is in Wordpress and will be going through another change to include the new logo and branding.  The site will stay on Wordpress but the template as well as the branding will be changing as well as the content.  Much of the content on the site is new and is continually being reveiwed. 

Target Audience: Sponsors and Donors


Client: Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland

Project Scope: Built an economic taxonomy which will be used to dynamically drive the site and pull associated content based on the taxonomy.  This will allow the site to produce search results with suggestions for further research based on association.

Target Audience: Everyone

 

Client: Federal Reserve bank of Cleveland (Intranet)

Project Scope: Working on defining the user tasks as opposed to the organizational business structure. This project has been using interviews, surveys and eye tracking to define and create an architecture.  Still on going.

Target Audience: Employees
